"Variations of an Iris"

This series explores the Iris through repetition and difference.

Working from a single subject, each painting focuses on variation-- how form , color, and movement shift from one iris to another. When placed together, these differences become more visible, allowing each flower to hold its own presence.

The works move away from botanical representation and toward a more personal way of seeing, shaped by observation and process.

Space and reduction play a central role, giving each form clarity and independence.
